The Bleaching of Black History

DENVER – Recently, researcher Negus Dawit, delivered a presentation at the Blair Caldwell African American Research Library, entitled “African Global History: 200,000 BC to the Present.” He touched on many aspects of Black history around the globe, including how Black people have been on the planet much longer than Caucasians, who themselves originated from Black people. “The first people in Europe were Africans,” he said.

Artifacts and other historical evidence proving the long history of darker skinned beings on the planet continue to be found and written about in scientific and archaelogical journals and publications, some of whom were referenced by Bro. Negus during his presentation. Interestingly, he shared that many of these sources contain terminology that indicates the authors refuse to acknowledge or plainly admit that all life originated from the mothers and fathers of civilization and, rather than identifying those early earth travelers as Black or African, they use terms such as “Austronesian,” “dark-skinned Caucasians,” or “Eur-Africans” to describe the Black men and women of ancient times, dating back hundreds and thousands of years.

He also addressed the link between Blacks and the Indigenous history of Mexico where the Olmec, Mayan and Aztec civilizations were established and where, even today, certain pyramids and structures still stand as proof of Black presence in that area of the world long before those who now are called Indians and Mexicans laid down roots there.

Bro. Dawit also taught that God was always viewed as feminine in ancient civilizations and that the patriarchal representation of God began to ascend around 10,000 BC. Women played very significant and influential roles in all of society. The oldest known calculator, he said, was created by a Black woman in Swaziland some time around 43,000 BC and “theoretically,” he suggested, that makes women the mothers of mathematics.

Much more was taught at the session which you may read about in the story as reported by the Denver Weekly News, (NOTE: you will need Adobe Reader to access these PDF files of the article):
