Baby Da'Niyah died last year from internal injuries resulting from sexual assault/abuse.
Approximately one year ago, many were outraged, disgusted and sickened by the tragic sexual assault and death of a 10-month-old infant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Da’Niyah Marie Jackson was only granted a short stay on the planet before being violated in such a brutal manner. The man accused of the crime is Clinton Smith, 30 – who was, at the time, the live-in boyfriend of Da’Niyah’s mother.
The Allegheny County District Attorney’s office updated The Black House on the status of the case; sharing that Smith remains incarcerated at this time awaiting a non-jury trial scheduled for April 13, 2009.
